Success in life

In this arduous journey called life, success is something that many people feel they’ll never be privileged to taste. For many, success is the feeling that stems from obtaining the wealth to enjoy lavish lifestyles that are envied by others. In most children, it’s been mentally instilled in their upbringing that they can only discover success by pursuing an education and diligently focusing on their strenuous studies.

Everyone has different notions of success. On their rise to the top, individuals sometimes become obsessed with their newfound lofty financial stature, which they mistakenly believe warrants the admiration of their peers. And it truly has nothing to do with vanity, tangible possessions or social acceptance. Success is a feeling you could possibly enjoy everyday.

Simply put, for the guidance counselor at your child’s school, success is the personal satisfaction that comes from knowing they’ve made a difference in your kid’s future and life. The question is … what does being successful mean to you? Whether you’re making an earnest living hustling all day selling used cars for a measly commission or in your office working tirelessly making telephone calls to Europe to land your company that new million dollar deal, you, my friend, are already more successful than you’ve probably realized.

Every morning that you awake to turn on that fresh pot of coffee, drop your kids off at school, and make it five minutes early to work, you’ve already begun writing the next page in your story of success. We can’t kid ourselves, having a nicely-padded savings account certainly facilitates life, but it’s surely not everything you need to be considered a successful person. Not to sound cliche’ by bringing up old, poor man tales, but it’s true. And I’m sure you’ll agree that even a homeless person is somewhat successful to an extent when you take into consideration their daily sacrifices to stay alive and hunt down their next meal.

SUCCESS:
Some people believe that success can only be gained by those of
Us who attend big name universities, land great jobs and
Care about owning the largest home on the lot and driving the
Cars that make pedestrians pause to admire and
Envy. Fortunately, there are many people who
Smartly figured out that the only true secret to
Success is knowing what’s truly important to you as a person.
