I’ve been working as a clerk in two different stores for over a year so of course I’ve had my fair share of rude customers. No matter how good of an employee I am, the rude customers will never stop insulting and criticizing, bitching and moaning. If I had a dime for every time a customer came into the store I work at and complained about the credit company we are affiliated with, I would be a pretty rich man. The worst thing is when a customer yells at me for something completely out of my control. Of course I keep my cool and try to calm them down but I’d rather just say…

10. If you don’t like the way this store works than get out. Go find somewhere else to complain!

9. I’m just a cashier, obviously if I’m standing behind a cash register and I’m the only cashier here, I can’t just leave to help you with something because the other employees are busy with other customers. Sometimes in life you have to wait.

8. Your complaining about how expensive something is and yet I see you in here at least once a week. Don’t piss me off or I won’t ever tell you about our coupons and promotions.

7. You want to be an angry customer, okay, I’ll just refuse to ring you up. Let’s see who can be the bigger jerk here.

6. I’m sick of you old people coming in here yelling at me, telling me things aren’t like they used to be. Of course they’re not, that was 400 years ago. Things change.

5. It’s obvious that nobody likes you and that’s why you’re angry but have you ever considered that people don’t like you because you are angry?

4. Does it make you feel good yelling at a 17 yr. old for something that is completely out of my reach?

3. Oh, you lost your receipt and it’s my fault you payed with cash and I can’t find it? Take your stuff and get lost.

Of course I wouldn’t actually ever say any of this to a rude customer but, Oh man do they deserve it!
