Individuality means a total character peculiarity that distinguishes an individual from others. It is the quality or state of being indivisible. Simply put it is being comfortable with who you are and the ability to like yourself.

In todays world instead of stepping out and being all of who we are, we tend to assimilate into what others want us to be.

Society has become a group of do gooders crying “everybody’s right” “nobody’s wrong” and “YOU and YOUR individuality has offended me”

Well I’m woke and pass me some cappucino please! there is a difference between wrong and right. and one can be wrong. My opinion? well of course, and if it is why does that offend some?

From A-Z the road of eggshells exist, I believe in God, well I don’t and that offends me, wah wah, I’m this color and I’m proud, well I’m this color and you being proud of yours offends me wah, wah, I will vote my choice in this election, he is not my choice and you speaking yours offends me wah, wah.

Where does it end? at lost of individuality!

There are characters that for me to get along with I must pray diligently for, and I must assume that is their feeling as well in reference to me, but to come to a happy medium? assimilate? is not in the picture for me. There is only one that can mold me and HE walks not on earth.

Individuality is losing, but a remnant remains! those who dare say “I don’t agree because YOU are wrong” the audacity! I will vote for change, the gawl! I will believe that there is one way to God and one only, heretic!

The names will come, the tears will fall, fists will draw up and banishment will come, but individuality will remain in place.

Abraham Lincoln said “I desire so to conduct the affairs of this administration that if at the end, when I come to lay down the reins of power, I have lost every other friend on earth, I shall at least have one friend left, and that friend shall be down inside me.”

That one friend down inside is the Spirit of the Lord and HE is enough, and when ones begin to love Him abiding there and are led by by Him, individuality blossoms and reflects a love for truth that draws others from assimilation.

Today when on-line communities exist and moderators are self-made gods, insuring that assimilation takes place, it is refreshing to the soul to know that individuality is important to the ONE and only moderator that matters.
