It is true that computers influence society throughout the world.  You know the words—World Wide Web?  From the beginning it was WWW with the use of Internet computers.  The WWW is offered in many languages.  There are many uses of computers for work, school and play.  In modern times one needs typing skills for the operations of a computer keyboard.  I’ve been typing since I was a freshman in High school.  Now, the world realizes ‘Media Center’ communications with the use of Internet computing.

I have a ‘Media Center’ laptop computer in my own living room.  There is the playback from stored: photography; videos; DVDs; CDs; HDTV.  It has personally impacted my life as well as society.  The use of computers is far reaching serving populations of citizens from all walks of life.  Let’s just say that there is hardly any terrain left without the aid of some type of computer driving it.

From when you wake up in the morning to dusk the whole world is computing.  You wake up to your digital clock; emails; WWW surfing; online banking; gas station digital pumps; scanned items at the store with a scanned credit cards just to name some usages of the computer’s driving forces.  Almost everything is digitized at one point or another with information stored and reused by computers.

I even have a digital music keyboard instead of a really large piano for my little apartment space.  I save time, money and space by digitizing my priorities.  Paying bills online saves me a trip to the post office; postage stamps; gas for my vehicle.  All-in-all computers make life more efficient thus more manageable.  In another sense, the computer is almost replacing the classroom with the many applications of online coursework.  Attending college from within your own living room can be attractive if you are an older student and don’t fit in with the young crowd at school.  I know of a woman from church that has 6 children and just graduated from an online High school.

One can reach out to all corners of the earth with new digitized meal plan recipes.  The WWW can improve our standard of living.  There are many great things and places to share within our reach with the use of the WWW.  It’s popularity has spawned many business opportunities throughout the world.  In these tough economic times it would serveall countries to share online tours of their own destination attractions.  This would give global communities an economic boost by using computers to strut their stuff.

It is now the time for all nations to advertise their greatness to attract tourists.  There is a lot of greatness in this world to exploit.  With seniors and people out of work now, at least some have time to travel to attractions from close to home to other corners of the earth. Search online destination tours for expanding your horizons.  This is some of the influences of computers on today’s society.
