Girls these days seem to be more materialistic than girls of other ages. More girls go for the glitz and glamor, rather than the traditional focus on family. Being a good mother to children and a loving wife to the husband seem to be at the bottom of the list.

Women today seem to want the lifestyle of the celebrities. They want to be in the spotlight. They want the big mansions, drive the latest sports model cars and compete with men in the corporate world. They have to have a ten out of ten body without any blemishes and would go under the needle to fix whatever is lacking with them and would still not be happy.

Settling for a partner with a blue collar job is a no-no. If you are a women in this day and age, the only guy you want is the tight ab body, no chest hair, model type man that is displayed on billboards advertising underwear. The reason for this…Could be to make friends envious. To show the other women out there that You are a woman capable of getting the hunkiest of hunks, so as to climb the social ladder. The hotter the guys you know, the more popular you are.

Questions about finding the right partner is more to the effect of: “Does he have a good career? (In other words, is he going to make a lot of money), Is he popular? (Meaning, is he influential and know the right people in the right places?), What car does he drive? (In other words, does he have good taste and is he really successful?), Does he take me out to fancy restaurants and give gifts? (Just to make sure he is not stingy and have a knack to spoil women). As apposed to: “Will he make a good husband?, Is he good with children?, Does he have integrity? Is he respectable and does he show respect towards others?

It is sad to see that more and more women seem to prefer having pets than having children. The pet industry has boomed over the past couple of years. Pets nowadays take the place of children, guessing that it is because it is easier to train pets than to rear children. It is probably easier to leave your pets at home or leave them with someone to go on trips and travel. To live a free live, without the burden of responsibility.

The women of today seem to have become more selfish in their ways. They have become very worldly and the media has now become their Bible. If you do not follow the latest trends and fashion, you are breaking a commandment.

Some girls still have the desire to live traditional lives, but are under so much pressure from society that their inner emotions are killed with the bar that society has raised and the norm that has developed. If you do not want to be seen as peculiar, you have to follow the Ten Commandments of Society, or else…

The question is, why do women allow society to mold them. Why are worldly things becoming so important to them? Why are they not believers of God, rather than believers of Babylon?
