Is time not of the essence? Where did the time go anyway?  

While many of us are asking ourselves these questions, I have no wavering of confidence in believing that more free time is better to have than more money. One may ask oneself, how do you get money without time? Is this possible? Think about this basic question…Can money exist without the time to make the money itself? All signs point to no.

Think about it for a minute…You are reading this article now. You are taking the time to look at these words, retain them, regurgitate them in your brain, and make some sort of opinion of your own. Is this possible because of money or because of the time you have to sit down and read this? Hmm.. just a though.

Do you think that a patient dying of pancreatic cancer wants more money to blow on things that are just materials of this world, or to have one more time to look into the beautiful eyes of his handicapped granddaughter and see nothing but perfection and love?  

Sure you can buy any vacation destination you want, but if you don’t have the time to go, what good is it? Go ahead on that destination by yourself with all the money in the world. You will be alone. Alone deep in your soul, where there is a darkness so cold that it eats your spirit, because you think money is better. A darkness that is blinding to your heart which barely beats with each rush of blood getting forced through it. Is this fun then? Is this what an enjoyable vacation should be? You be the judge.

Every second that goes by a baby is born, someone dies, someone cries, laughs, mourns, smiles, runs, walks, talks, hugs, kisses, eats, prays and loves. Today is gone almost just as fast as yesterday was a flash of memory, and like a week was as far away as the stars in the sky. That is why time is so much more precious. Yeah, sure you can buy things with more money, but you can’t ever “buy time” even though there are those who will tell you otherwise. They are the ones whose souls are in the darkness and their hearts suffocating to pump blood through their veins. It’s ok though if you think more money is better than time, but I have pity on your souls.

Now after reading this, you can tell me that money can do all this and so much more, right? You can be the judge of that, but as for me, no, money cannot compare to having more time, not by a long shot.
