Why Gambling looks Glamorous and why you shouldn’t Waste your Time and Money Gambling

Why Gambling isn’t as glamorous as it seems.
Have you ever stepped into a casino, walked around looking for the best machine, or black jack table to make millions of dollars at? Walking around the casino, have you felt the need to plunk down all your money, or run out the front door, with all of your money still in your pocket safe and sound? It’s downright depressing to walk into a casino during the day, or night seeing many people throwing their hard earned money into a machine. It’s depressing to think that many people spend hours upon hours betting their money away.

You should not gamble because it isn’t worth it. Gambling can become so addictive you can literally lose your life. People can  become so addicted to gambling, that they end up cashing in their home mortgage to the casino. Men lose their wives, their kids, everything in their homes that they worked so hard for. Women lose their husbands, their kids, and their homes. You could also lose your self respect, and your job, ending up living on the street.

Even though gambling may look like an easy, glamorous lifestyle to lead when you watch a television show with people playing cards, it isn’t. The people you see on those gambling TV shows are aliens from another planet! Just kidding had to say it, to lighten the mood. The gamblers you see on TV shows making gambling look easy, have practiced for many hours, on the craft and science of gambling. It’s hard work, to figure out how to gamble.

Gambling costs mega amounts of money. Just to get into the big game, you have to fork over some serious money. When you see a player gamble on a TV show, that person had to put $10,000 into the pot, just to gain a right to play the game, possibly winning millions of dollars. It may sound great to win 250,000 dollars to win 60th place.

You are playing with Lady Luck. You are taking a major dream-like chance with real money to maybe, possibly win some money. When you hear about someone who won millions of dollars in a state lottery game, you aren’t hearing about the millions of people who played the game and never won a single dollar. All that money came from what other people put into the game. Haven’t we all heard the advertisements enticing us to play those games of chance. We can play for years,  and never win anything. Certainly, the more money you throw at it, the more you will have a chance at a major, all-time win that will set you up for life.

Gambling is an addictive game you play with your money and eventually your life. Gambling is as dangerous as ingesting illegal street drugs. Be smart. Be safe. Try gambling once in a casino to see what the thrill is, and walk away with your money and your life intact.
