Simply because a woman can reproduce, and bring a child into the world, does not guarantee that she is mother material. It is assumed that every woman would be, or should be, thrilled at being able to become a mother. As human beings, we all have different views and feelings about having children. The politically correct view of society, is that a woman who has children, will , and is suppose to be a “good,” mother. Unfortunately for children, that is not always the case.

Some women are immature, and selfish. They only think of themselves, and children are a burden to them. These type of women, think nothing of leaving small children home alone, while they go out and party, or kick it with their friends. They have no concern about the safety, or needs of their children. They are not her first priority. These women are not cut out to be mothers.

There are women who are highly motivated to achieve a career. They don’t have time to have children, because it would interfere in their plans to be successful. Once they are established in a career, they have no desire to have any children.These women might had been good mothers, but they chose a career over children. In that sense, they may had not been meant to be a mother in the first place.

There are women who carry babies for other women, or couples. These women are selfless by sacrificing their own bodies, to provide a child for someone else, who can not have children of their own. These surrogate mothers can, or can not, be good mother material. Some are, some are not. Some simply enjoy the process of pregnancy, and delivery. They willing give up the baby with no regrets.

We also see women who desire to be good mothers, but are addicted to drugs, or some man, who they value over the children. These women are not meant to be mothers. A woman who is meant to be a mother, is willing to put the welfare of her children, above all else. Her children are her first priority at all times. She sacrifices, and does without herself, to see to it that her children, are safe, happy, and well taken care of.

If a woman can not provide all these things for the love of her children, she is not cut out to be a mother. A woman is pressured by society, and family to have children, as if it is her duty once she is married. This is often painful for those women who desire, and even ache to have a child, but through no fault of their own, can not conceive.

Even in nature, some animals will abandon, or neglect their young. Motherhood is the ultimate joy of females, who are blessed to be meant to have children. For those who are not meant to be mothers, we should respect their desire not to have children in the first place.
