Hope Difficulties Hardships Conviction Moutains Faith believe Life Depression Suicide

Life is not always a merry-go-round of enjoyment. At times it is full of so much pain and hurts that many people have found the only way to escape from it is to take their own lives. If life is cruel and causes you to ask yourself questions as to who you are and what your purpose here on earth and there is no plausible answer, then why not commit suicide? Because once you are dead, you will not be bothered by these questions.

However, ending your own life is not the solution especially if you believe there is life after death. More so, you will not enjoy your life and fulfill your purpose as God had intended. Also, do not forget that suicide will leave your loved ones sad and in pain at losing you when you could have survived and overcome the barriers or mountains that seemed too big to conquer.

It is at this point, when you find yourself at the end of the bridge, and looking down that you realize it is too deep and you want to cross to the other side. You find the bridge and it doesn’t reach the other side. You are faced with a dilemma. What should you do? If you threw a stone, it would take 10 minutes. Definitely, this means if a human being was to jump, by the the time he reaches  the ground, he would already be dead. He will not survive the impact. Faced with such a dilemma what would you do? Jump? Retreat?

In life there will be times when you feel you have reached the end of your life and there is no way out you could think of. However, take courage and face  what seems to be a big mountain, knowing it will not always be there. Be encouraged and inspired and uplifted and motivated by true life stories of men and women who went through adverse times in terms of poverty, hardships, sufferings, rejections, discrimination and pain at losing someone or a job. Through these trying times, they overcame the mountains that seemed huge to become great in what they do or did for those who passed away. These men and women never gave up despite what they went through. You may ask, “What made them overcome their obstacles?” The answer is simple. “They believed in their inner convictions.

Deep inside them they knew that there was hope. There was light at the end of the tunnel. They were convinced that even though life has its ups and down, it’s not all the time that life is hard. When it becomes hard or you cannot make sense of it, you then stand on your firm feet and believe without a doubt it’s not going to be that way for long. One other thing you will notice about them is that after overcoming the obstacles and hardships, they off work to change the lives of those around them and beyond the borders.

Therefore when life seems to laugh at you, mock at you and tease, what do you do? End your life because the cloud is big and dark? Let circumstances control you because you cannot see the way through? No, that is not the way to go. There is always hope. This is a conviction men and women have always held true. Despite what you are going through, there is always hope things will turn out for the better. Sit down, evaluate your life and take the necessary steps to change. Have a clear mind and determine what needs to be done.

Hope is a gift that no one can steal from you. Exercise it. But, aside from only hoping, know what needs to be done and how you will solve the problem. Try to reason. Do not just sit and hope. Do something about it. The thing is never to give up. When you have hope, you will be firm in your belief in changing something. It’s an ingredient that has made many men and women overcome obstacles that seemed hopeless.
