Lake Monsters - Yes
Lake Monsters do exist. Where is the proof? Hidden deep inside the lakes, scattered to the four winds of planet earth. Is it so hard to believe that there are still forms of life present among us that have not yet been discovered? In a world where exploration is admired, monster hunting is not. President Kennedy was not laughed at for wanting to explore the moon. Yet anytime someone wants to explore planet earth, they are often admonished. Why then, do we still feel the need to explore. Natural curiosity of course. From birth, we want to know. Columbus was laughed at for his need to prove the world was not flat. Space is not the final frontier, it is the bodies of water that occupy this earth. We can get to space, it’s the bottom of the ocean that eludes us.
In the haste to prove the existence of these “lake monsters”, I believe that some hinder research by the propagation of “The Hoax”. Have any real pictures of lake monsters been recorded? Hard to say. But legitimate research, will eventually evolve, and provide proof of new life. Will this new life be in the form of a 50 ft long dragon like beast? I sure hope so, but more likely to come in the form of parasites and microbes.
The Loch Ness Monster is probably the most well know of these alleged lake monsters. It has a playground 24 miles long and 900 ft deep to play in, and hide in. First spotted in 1933 in Northern Scotland. Over 11,000 sightings. What are the chances that all of them are mistaken?
What are the chances that dinosaurs do exist? That somehow, they survived extinction. What wonders of the deep are waiting to be discovered? How hard is it to believe that a bear can hibernate in a cave for seven months out of a year? Is it that much harder to believe that a creature survive an ice age by diving deep into the ocean and finding a good spot to wait, to breed, or even hibernate? Did sharks not survive the ice age? Are we surprised when sharks are found in salt water lakes with access to the ocean? Do you believe that whales breath air? Whales are aquatic mammals. The only reason they haven’t found one in a lake is because they don’t have legs…yet.
