Make the world a better place. (Expository Essay)

          In the words of Scott Sorrell, “You make the world a better place by making yourself a better person,” I understand this to mean that by making yourself a better person you are making an intense change in our world of today. Many have asked there self’s…What is my purpose? Why am I here? What was I meant to do? Well, the reason why you are here, the purpose of why you where created is simply to make the world a better place for you and everyone around you.

          In other words, when you become a better person by maybe volunteering in community service many benefits will result when someone helps, in both the community and in their personal life’s. For example when I joined the key club in school I got to help all the children that needed serious help. I was able to donate many things. When I did this I felt a massive amount of joy and happiness when I noticed that I had made a huge difference in all those kids life. I then was able to answer the questions above. I then opened my mind and realized my purpose in life, why I was here and what I was meant to do.

          I was here to help everyone and everything I can. By doing this I was making myself understand the way of life and nature, the way things worked. I helped my self grow and understanding the real meaning of caring and loving. I helped children that were in severe need. By me and you working together to make someone smile everyday is causing the world of today to be a better place for everyone. This is a chain reaction that everyone needs to comprehend if you understand this chain you can help the world change for the better in no time!

          So in conclusion to everything that was stated above, what the quote from Scott Sorrell is really trying to get across is that by you doing something as small and making your self I better person maybe by helping an elderly cross the street or keeping that candy rapper in your pocket and not polluting you can make the world change to a better place with out a doubt. Many people sadly think that they really can’t make a difference because they are only one person, but if you really think about everything thing starts one by one until eventually you can see the huge difference you have caused.
