No other article will even come close to being as unique nor honest as this one. Don’t be discouraged by the title. This is NOT just another free speech rant, but a look at the what and why of political correctness as it affects a person’s ability to speak freely and air their views, opinions, and even vocally speak truthful facts into their daily interactions with the world at large. This will focus more specifically on how the narrow-minded pathology  of political correctness affects the ability of society to interact with each other.

No special psychology degree need be held to qualify & quantify the truth that is about to be told. There need not be any science behind facts being facts. That said, let’s move forward into the depths of the modern day psyche of American Society!

Everyone from every walk of life has civil rights, be you Black, Hispanic, Asian, White, Jewish, European, Middle Eastern, etc. Equality and diversity are the hallmarks of a society that embraces freedom, however, the American tradition of lobbying for special rights for each and every category of people has gone horribly wrong. Due to the various different lobbyist groups who have obvious interest in corporate culture, money becomes the main idea instead of real equality.

Recent psychological studies in 2009 broke the news of very real possibilities that a person can hold prejudices from infancy. This has always been self-evident because infants and young children need to be taught that our differences are to be celebrated instead of tolerated. Differences are noticed just at just these young ages, but from a rather innocent perspective. The last eight or nine years have seen the erosion of civil rights for everyone, no one group can go cry victim.

The idea of political correctness goes all the way back to the 19th century or even before that. “High Society” made of of financially affluent people who can openly show disdain for all people based on their wealth, with the knowledge that money buys a person everything to include free passes to commit discrimination & even felony hate crimes do so because their status in society has long given them the false sense of security to do so. Ignorance has two definitions. The first is when a person commits a wrong against the other because they actually didn’t know better, and the second is when someone commits a wrong simply because a person has the capability to be hateful.

Political Correctness is a form of hate because it involves people forming large groups who have one single agenda, and that is to limit to an unreasonable extent what people can say and how people can interact with each other. It is nothing more than a way to divide people, causing dissention which leads to unrest. It’s THE single most hateful thing to be a part of. Going back to the issue of civil rights, the U.S. Constitution makes all of us equals. No person, no group is over another. We all enjoy the same freedoms, one of the top freedoms we enjoy is the ability to speak without being interfered with.

Interference takes place under the most common circumstances when for instance, one labels another in some way because of disagreement with the first person’s speech. This is where the disorganization (psychosis) shows in the illness of Liberalism. The practice of liberalism involves facts being made out to be opinions, and therefore, incorrect. With this kind of logic, no connection is made as to what makes an opinion an opinion instead of a fact. This logic continues to follow the delusional pathology into fantasy because the belief system involves the deep thought disturbance of making an opinion a fact with any credible evidence to back it up. 

The individual with this type of disturbance will often answer a simple line of questioning rooted in it’s purpose to bring the suffering person back to reality with answers based on statements such as “well, it seemed that way to me” or “it is because I say it is”. What is very clear to an objective person at this point: the person holding a liberal belief system suffers from control issues, and either low sense of self security, or inflated sense of power. To wit in an instance of this: person “A” correctly points out that a person can live wherever they wish to live and that right cannot be interfered with by the courts, and forms the opinion that any judge making a ruling that violates this right should have something shoved up their ass (figuratively speaking) and person “B” starts insulting person “A” with claims of various types of hatred based solely of perception versus the facts of what person “A” has actually put across.

A friend of this author recently posted the definition of a word to Facebook. This friend incorrectly posted a warning that people under 18 shouldn’t read his posting. This happened because one of the definitions of this word was “someone with a large penis”. He was worried about the word “penis” being used. Given the context of his posting in the form of a status update, the word was not being used gratuitously nor abusively due to the fact that the word is simply part of the definition of something. Penis is part of the human anatomy, and when used correctly, it cannot be seen as offensive. 

Here is the main idea of where this article has been leading to: Human kind has the very nature of being pre-disposed to whining. What offends thee? Have thee grown up enough to objectively, calmly, examine the situation and the speech in the context of such situation, or have thee still the propensity for knee jerk reactions? In the everyday world over the past eight years, we have been given to such horrible attitude that almost everything offends everyone. Some of this behavior is indeed from people who truly have hyper-sensitivity, and others do it because they want to be seen as “normal” or popular. 

The very precept of “normal”, “acceptable”, “popular”, “well liked”, and so forth are parts of political correctness. Being PC is unethical and ingenious. Those who subscribe to the mantras of skin deep justification when being “polite” are usually those who have a low level of confidence in themselves which contributes directly to giving themselves over to the whim of their friends or whomever else.  Many years ago someone decided that “perception is everything”. Perception clearly is NOT everything. Practicing “perception” is another delusional system of life because it is a way of directly giving oneself over to personal prejudices of oneself or others, usually with the statement “I have friends from all over, and this one group of my friends may possibly be offended and they may think differently of me if I let you say that, and I don’t want to lose my friends”. 

All of this is very matter of factly a practice of intimidation, a practice that most comonly happens in group settings based on a gang style mentality. Power & control are obviously involved in this dynamic. Here the foundation has been laid to matter of factly call political correctness communism. Although America is a republic, we have our foundation for freedom. The 1st amendment covers almost every single type of speech there is, even if it is offensive or abusive. The line gets crossed when one person verbally or physically threatens another. Most people in the PC movement are hypersensitive and are strong advocates for “Hate Speech” laws. These same individuals are also very good at threatening to get law enforcement involved when they disagree with speech.

If any readers go to their local police departments, it is guaranteed that they will tell you that they will not lock up someone simply because you don’t like what was said by someone, and that the only form of illegal speech is speech in which a direct, specific threat is made. One other delusional belief is that someone who points out racism is a racist simply because they pointed out this serious, and unjust happening. Racism has often been a point of contention when a member of the community correctly and vocally points out the very specific behaviors of a certain group in the community that are very clearly disrespectful, disturbing, detrimental, or even illegal.

This is obviously the wrong definition of racism. Racism is when a person or group of people are denied their rights or are harmed / killed BECAUSE of the race or their ethnicity. What offends thee? Is it certain things in the Bible that tell us what right living is? Is it someone who speaks at all when they aren’t liked by you or your clique? Hyper-sensitivity has become an epidemic in America. Hyper-sensitivity is at such levels now that it has risen to the level of paranoia in our country. The detrimental effects can be seen everywhere we go, in whatever we do, and dare any one of us attempt to live like we are people with guaranteed freedoms….how sick we are! What a threat to the community we are!

The disease of political correctness is offensive in and of itself. Agreeing to disagree isn’t working anymore because tolerance is now the word. No one has to “tolerate” the next person, we have no choice but to co-exist in society with the next person. Each person, each unique view, each person’s speech, each person’s ideas are to be celebrated. It is a fact, not an opinion that everyone with differing ideas has already contributed to society or is in the act of contributing to society by being vocal! Freedom of speech doesn’t mean ONLY the thoughts, ideas, and speech you subscribe to are the only ones to be heard. It also means allowing the thoughts, feelings, ideas, and speech of others or else we aren’t free to communicate at all in any medium, period! 

Political Correctness gone wrong! What offends thee? Is it someone who communicates something that you disagree with or maybe makes no sense? Have you stopped to wonder if the person speaking might just be holding a mirror up the the community and the world in general so they can see and hear what they look like or  sound like in their most juvenile moments? Could it at all be possible that the person communicating may not make sense because that person is leading up to something that you may not have learned yet? Could it be that the person communicating may be trying to lead up to something while not quite giving away their point because they want you to figure it out by using common sense?

What offends thee? Is it a conversation about something that you aren’t knowledgeable about? Is it someone who supports a cause you don’t believe in? Is it someone who is very open about their desire to return government to the hands of the people instead of the people being afraid of their government? Is it someone who sheds light on some wrongdoing? Is it someone who shows you where YOU went wrong? Political correctness gone wrong! What offends thee? Someone who tries to make their life productive & successful? Someone who makes a strong presence in the community? Someone who tries hard to live life better than you? Someone who falls down and refuses to stay down while refusing to give into your selfishness? Maybe it’s someone who refuses to be afraid of you or afraid of something else you have fears about?

Have you ever thought of taking the time to reflect and investigate what it is that makes you so hyper-sensitive? Is it a person who is just very straight forward that offends you? Honesty used to be one of our nation’s high values. Standing up for oneself, not caring what others think, having principles, having integrity used to be valued, and is now against the law of political correctness. What a pity!
