The Myth of Cruelty - Yes

Introduction

According to written history - not a single day passed without the cruelty of war somewhere in the world - at earlier times - human bones scattered around the camp fire indicating - the conquered were cannibalized for absolute annihilation.

This article is set out to bring light on those evolutionary processes which maintained the notion of cruelty, discovering the psychological nature of cruelty, challenges of the new worldview, individual responsibility and conclusion.

The Newtonian Paradigm

“The mechanistic world view of the Newtonian paradigm - accepted - implemented and maintained for centuries by the scientific elite that’s structuring existence to ever descending units of analysis - molecules are more basic than neurons - atoms are more basic than molecules - this idea of reductionism later included every aspect of life - structuring power and authority on the same ladder of ascending and descending authority.”

Mechanism stresses isolated, separate and interchangeable parts.  Everything in Newton’s universe is ultimately reducible to so many individual atoms and the forces acting them.

Atomism encourages a model of relationship based on conflict and confrontation - a part against part - when this reductionism applied to the statue of society takes the form of the ultimate conflict where “each man against each man”.

The truth beyond cruelty

Towards the end of the twentieth century the above world view and those systems established to preserve and promote it began to disintegrate - opposing the natural law of reality always carried the seed of its own demise - those seeds began to show some ripening from the 1970s - the beginning of serious research into consciousness - the irreducible primary quality of all existence - transforming the potential into the actual - the non experienced into the experienced.

In the 1990s this once hypothetical postulate became an identifiable, calibratable reality.

It was also discovered that human beings attuned to a specific level of consciousness by traits of inheritance and the consequence of all choices over a long period of time.

The truth beyond cruelty revealed by comparing the human mind to a computer where the brain as hardware capable of playing any software program that was fed into it. From that - the human ego (I.D.) is naïve, blind to the limitations and innocently gullible - which also programmed to attack it with self-hatred, depression, guilt, low self-esteem, envy, greed and endless misery which projected onto the world as hate, war, violence and genocide.

Furthermore, the ego is a remnant from our evolutionary process which can be and must be tamed by the psychological intervention. (D. Hawkins, 2005)

Resistance to change

We have lived within an intellectual and systematic worldview of reductionism for centuries - favoring a relational and intentional inter-connectivity to social harmony can be and will be seriously challenged. The old system far from ready to walk away gracefully - it’s fighting back with never perceived industrial level of cruelty.

In the Western world - youth without role models or heroes unable of differentiating between video games and the reality of flesh and blood - to get even with their peers and teachers - taking guns to school to eliminate them.

On the International level numerous countries are failing their members to provide an acceptable social milieu - giving way to unspeakable cruelty veiled as religious extremism.

Furthermore, national borders and their legal mechanism unable to stop human trafficking, the flow of dirty money and the weapons of mass destruction. (L. Diamond, 2002)

Living a cruelty-free life depends on individual responsibility

Ego the human I.D. also stands for Everybody Got One!  Before science the ancient avatars warned to “know thyself” - knowing the self is to look within for the set of morals and ethics that can be felt before they expressed.

Members of the Western world taking for granted the luxuries of beautiful homes, nice cars, holidaying on exotic lands - blinded to the so-called third world’s absolute poverty, escalating human repression and the denial of basic human rights.

Comprehending that humanity is an organic statue of oneness and that if it’s small toe became broken the whole organism will suffer - asking for humility - where the humbled ego becomes the springboard to a higher level of consciousness.

Conclusion

The darkness of our cruelty-ridden world lit with flickering little lights heralding - the new worldview is here to stay; America elected a black man for President - Australia is proud of her first ever female Prime Minister however, it may take a few generations until Man becomes completely sound in self - we were given consciousness without understanding - a computer with no program - finding the program of all information - we found Truth - ” Truth has to appear only once - for it to be impossible for anything ever to prevent it from spreading universally and setting everything ablaze.”
