How to be Classy Act like a Lady Manners

How to Be Classy Without Being Rich

First of all, being classy has absolutely nothing to do with wealth. Being classy is more than having perfect hair, manicured nails, flawless skin, and designer clothing.

You can dress the most beautiful woman in the most expensive, stylish clothing and make her up like a top model, but if she doesn’t act classy, then physical appearances won’t make much difference.

Being classy starts with knowing how to act like a lady. It has more to do with how you treat people and how you view yourself than what labels are stitched inside your clothing. A classy lady holds her head high no matter what she’s wearing. She knows her worth as a person and doesn’t let anyone else define who she is or what she is capable of doing. A classy lady is confident, well-read, and ready for anything thrown her way.

One of the most important aspects of being classy is knowing how to behave with good manners at all times. Equally important is treating people with kindness and understanding. A classy lady also does not lose her cool under pressure.

A classy lady doesn’t gossip or say hurtful things to anyone, ever. She doesn’t have to insult other people or make others look bad in order to make herself look better. Such tactics will only make her come across as insensitive and ill-mannered.

Aside from manners and poise, a classy lady must always use good hygiene. She should wear her hair in a neat, modern style and it should always be clean. There is never an excuse for dirty hair or dirty nails unless she is in the middle of a workout or performing some sort of manual labor. A classy lady does not leave her house unless she is clean and reasonably groomed. Her clothes do not have to be tailor-made, but they do have to be clean and wrinkle free. Make-up is not a requirement, but if she does opt to wear make-up it should be tastefully done. Make-up should look natural, not thrown on with a paint brush. Heavy make-up will only make her appear cheap. The same goes for perfume and jewelry. A little goes a long way.

If the modern, classy woman wants to dress up and go out for a night on the town, then she should wear something that flatters her figure without advertising. In other words, leave a little to the imagination. I’m not talking about wearing a turtle neck and ankle length skirt, but clothing that is too revealing or too tight is the exact opposite of classy.

She should also take good care of herself by eating a healty diet, drinking plenty of pure water, and getting plenty of exercise. It’s difficult to be classy if she is in poor health or looks like she doesn’t care about herself.

A classy lady is smart, independent, and strong. She knows what she wants, sets goals and goes after them. She doesn’t sit around and wait for someone else to fulfill her dreams. She also knows how to achieve those goals and dreams without using other people or being manipulative in the process.

In short, being classy is being a confident, strong woman who believes in herself and cares about those around her. Being rich is not even a factor.
