Feel Positive

Ever thought what actually being positive means? Paulo Coelho in his bestseller “The Alchemist” says, “If you wish to acquire something, the whole world conspires in helping you to achieve it.” A person needs to be optimistic to experience the best in life and enjoy the spiritual dimensions. Positive thinking imbibes faith-the belief that God is always there to help and direct your life, and to help find you happiness in your work and relationships. Positive thinking is even more important today because many people are discouraged, if not downright depressed. They feel isolated and are also under great stress because they’ve never learned to control their emotions; they take life as it comes.

Sadly, most people live and die with their music still unplayed. They never dare to try. Why? Because they lack self-confidence. To overcome this, it is important to respect your own process of learning. The key is to be able to identify those areas which need evaluation and improvement. We have to believe that we all have unlimited potential to excel, to succeed. Without this belief, we limit our growth potential. Many of us are unfamiliar with the light within us. This light burns brighter than anything we could ever imagine.

Swami Vivekananda has once said, “If you think about disaster, you will get it. Brood about death and you hasten your demise. Think positively and masterfully, with confidence and faith, and life becomes more secure, more loaded with actions, richer in achievement and experience”. Some people get frozen by the fear of failure. Failure is nothing but a delusion. You need to take it this way, that failure gets you closer to where you want to be. Try and think that you tried and failed, if you wouldn’t have even tried then? We must rediscover a spirit of hope and trust. When your mind is full of fear, doubt, and clutter, good ideas can’t get through.

You get your best ideas and make your best decisions when you are relaxed, open to impression, and responsive to them. So don’t waste even a single minute not being happy. If one window closes, run to the next, if not this one then let’s break down a door. Pray to Almighty not to move the mountain but to provide strength to climb it.
