Does a Dirty Car mean that Person is Dirty as well
Cleanliness is next to Godliness! How many times have you heard this expression? The fact is, when you think about it, it’s probably true.
How clean is your car? Primarily, the interior? Sure, we all suffer the consequences of driving through a puddle just after the car has been washed, or running over a stream in the roadway because of a faulty fire hydrant or another source of water.
Boy, that pisses me off! But we’re talking about something that you can prevent and take care of, and that’s the state of cleanliness the interior of your car is at this present moment!
Are you one of those people who after driving though a MacDonald’s or another fast food joint, you leave the bags in your car to sit and fester for a few weeks? Then when you have company in your car, the guests have to root around to try and find a clean place to sit.
Do you believe that is a reflection of your personality? In other words, because you might keep a dirty car interior, you might be a slob, plain and simple?
I once had a friend, God rest his soul, who never and I mean never cleaned his car interior. Inside his car, or outside his car, he never once spent a few bucks to have it washed, and never vacuumed out the interior.
In fact, he used to roll down his car windows if he knew it was going to rain to wash the interior! I’m not kidding! But he was a good friend of mine, even though he was a slob!
So it might be true that some people don’t bother to clean their cars, and it seems to me those people invariably are more on the piggish side than not. They could be the sweetest people you’ve ever met, but when it comes to tip-top hygiene, they’re not going to win any medals. So here’s another fact: People who are messy can be nice people.
On the flip side, there are some people who are so anal that if there is one speck of dust underneath a car seat they have to vacuum the entire car even though they might have just cleaned their car the previous day. Now that is going overboard, wouldn’t you say?
So is it safe to say that the state of cleanliness of a vehicle that a person owns is a reflection of their personality? In a world dictated by odds, let’s just say that if you were to bet on it, you’d probably collect a nice chunk of change!
