Country City - Country
The honest truth is that it all depends on what you prefer. If you prefer to live in a place that is busy and has plenty of people and things to do, the city might be the way to go. However if you prefer a quieter lifestyle and generally like to be closer to nature then perhaps the country is the place to be. Do you think about nature more or do you think about the type of lifestyle you want? These can help in determining what is right for you but this may also change at a later date as naturally we have the right to change our minds. It is really a personal preference and no one can really decide what is right for you. I think both have their good and bad points.
The country can be quite peaceful and the air may be cleaner. The city might be exciting with so much going on and so many people all around. I would think about where you would see yourself living for a long period of time. Thinking about the long term and imagining how life would be like in either place can sometimes really give us our answers as looking inside of what we desire the most also helps us decide. We can fall in love with either one, the city or the country, they both offer different things.
The type of accommodation can also be a factor you may want to consider. People sometimes love the ocean, so they may not even consider the area or the people or the location but only purely the need to be close to the ocean. Again it’s the desire that is deep within us that makes us cling to the kind of lifestyle we want for ourselves. However, sometimes the house can be a determining factor. The cottages in the country can be a dream and it remains with the nature they long for.
I personally prefer the quiet but if I get bored I am sure to drive into the city every chance I get. The country has a different feel and I can understand why sometimes people deter from it as they may crave the energy and movement of the city. Is that not why people travel in the first place? People want to experience different things. Sometimes we change as we get older so we may soon prefer what once we despised. In the end we are all different and we have different preferences but even then we can still want the best of both worlds.
