City or Country Debate - Country

Country living is the absolute best. There is always plenty of room for family gatherings or a neighborly get together. Think about the barn dances and hay rides, do you remember how much fun these are? No room for any of this in the city.

Music without all the heavy bass or the profanity, some people have to agree the older music was much more enjoyable. What happened to using your hands like you do in the country? The city is stuffed with technology that changes daily.

Country churches still hold true to helping individuals, families and communities. The country type choirs are being replaced with bands. City churches have become snobby and make more to do about what you where then the real reason of going to church.

Looking at the open fields and trees out in the country is much more beautiful then looking at the brick walls of surrounding buildings in the city. You don’t have the theft and crime in the country that you deal with in the city. Graffiti doesn’t exist in the country, yet the city is covered with it. Parking in the country has never been an issue. In the city you will consider yourself luck to find a parking place within a block or two, much less a parking garage that isn’t full and costs money to park in.

The fresh air out in the country by far beats the smoggy city air. There aren’t any factories sending off those awful fumes out in the country. You can’t enjoy a beautiful sunset in the city the way you can in the country. Why worry about a territorial gang war or drive by shootings? None of these things happen in the country. Not saying there isn’t a fight or two between families or in a country bar. No one has to bring out a gun or a knife though, things like that are usually solved with fists in the country.

Country families are closer knit then city families. There is a better communication setting in the country and more values that stick better with a country family. City families have more divorce issues and want to sue anyone and everyone for something. Country folk are more peaceful and organized. They know how to grow their own food and make money off the land. City people want to go out to eat more and half of them don’t know how to cook a decent meal. Stick with the country and let the city go.
