WStands For Woman and A Few Other Unpleasant Things.

WOMAN
What is the percentage of women in the world today? I believe we are over the population. Guess what. Only about 20% of us are free. Of that 20% I believe there are a lot less with true freedom that is supposed to come with being a human being. With our sheer numbers ladies, we should be ruling the world. Something happened along the way, and we were literally put in our place. Let’s take a look at some other Ws.

WHIMPY

Yes women of the world we are somewhat whimpy. How many of you moms out there (including myself) dress our little darlings like princesses and then read them stories about how Prince Charming will sweep them off their feet, take them home to the palace and live happily ever after. Well, moms, get real. Let them be princesses, but teach them how to kick Prince Charming’s ass when he starts to treat her like an attachment or heaven forbid, start emotionally and physically abusing her.

How many of you heard this one. I know I did and was I proud at the time. I was very athletically inclined. It always made me feel good when I was told I was almost as good as a boy. And I believed it! Imagine my surprise when I later realized that being good for me was what it really was all about.

Think about it. If a woman is good at something, like driving a race car, or playing baseball, and she dares to enter the man’s world, she’d better be good, or everyone will be talking about that stupid broad that tried to play a man’s sport and didn’t make it. If she does do ok, well then, not bad for a girl. Do we hear anything about the thousands of men who don’t make it in that sport? Not a word. Be careful girls. Don’t cross the line.

My ex boss was a twenty something young woman. A political ad came on the news for a woman who was running for president of the United States, (we all know who that is) and she turned to me and said she didn’t believe a woman should be president. This came from a woman’s mouth! After I regained my composure and my jaw was back in place I asked her why and she couldn’t tell me. Is this how our younger women are thinking in this day and age? Where did that come from? Have they not even looked at or been taught about the constitution? Amendment 19 gave us the right to vote and how long ago was that? Not even one hundred years. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to go back a hundred years and start over. This tells me that many young women are not only not standing up for themselves as citizens, but as women. Thank God I taught my own daughter to respect herself and she does it with flying colors.

WORLDLY

Ok now. Let’s talk about the women of the world. The 80% who aren’t free. You know that Mohammed the great prophet was married to a rich woman. That must have ticked him off to no end that he had to get his money from his wife. Well, once that angel appeared and offered advice, the women came out on the bad end of that one. How lovely for the men to be able to have as many wives as he wants.(As long as he can provide for them and the 20 or 30 children he will have-some of them female who will be taught to obey right away-to groom them to become one of many wives. My husband was recently stationed in Iraq and was offered two more wives. One Sheik even offered to bring me over and I could be head wife. NOT!

And while we are on that subject, these women who blow themselves up in the name of their cause, where do they think their place in heaven will be. I’ll tell you. One of the 70 virgins of the guy next to her who blew himself up too.

Then there is the sex slave trade. Now I realize it isn’t made up of just women, unfortunately children of both sexes are involved. What is even worse is I’ll bet donuts to dollars that some of those people running these outfits are, yup, you guessed it WOMEN. As if we don’t have enough trouble being respected in this world, we have women who go right along with it.
And who is deriving the pleasure out of these women and children? You guessed it.
Women around the world are held under, often times because of their customs and don’t know any better. And their men like to keep it that way. What do you think they are afraid of? We might run this place better?

SINGLE PARENT WOMEN

And there are many of those. Their husbands are out chasing other women and having more babies with them. I was employed at a place where men came in every day looking for work. It made me sick to hear them complain about child support being taken out of their checks and I told them so. One young man was so proud that his girlfriend was pregnant and that was his fifth child, each of the other children was with a different woman. This kid wasn’t even 30 yet. The young woman he got pregnant this time was illiterate, could not read or write, which unfortunately we are seeing more and more of in this country. I also met a man who worked for us that had 23 children with several women. He even had sex with one of his own children. He is in prison now where he belongs, but it took another “incident” to put him back in.

Come on Moms, we need to make sure our girls are educated in every way.
To all you single parents out there, especially the moms, I salute you. You are the cement that keeps the family together. Just make sure your kids get the kind of education in everything they need, and stay on top of it!

WORKPLACE

Ah, the bane of our existence. Let’s take another look at equity on the job. How often do we see a woman doing the same work as a man, often times having to work twice as hard to prove she fits into the “man’s” world and getting paid less, often much, much less. We see it in Hollywood all the time. Even the top actresses considered superstars don’t make what the men do. Yes, yes, it is getting closer, but why should they have to wait at all.
Movies that have made women sex objects have been around for years. Look at all the teen age boy’s movies that make objects out of the young girls in them. I know, I know, it is starting to change, but, again, why wait? What are the studios afraid of? A woman might just make a good movie. And of course we are given “chick flicks” to satisfy us for a while.
And don’t get me started on women lawyers. If you are good, you are a bitch a barracuda or something nasty along that nature. But, if you are a man and a good lawyer, go get em tiger or he might even be compared to a lion.
How many men would consider having a woman physician? I’m sure there are a few out there, my husband being one of them, but many would not want a woman to examine them, let alone operate on them.
I, myself found out at my last position that the man that started a few weeks before I did, was making two dollars an hour more, for doing the same, exact job. My resume was twice that of his.
And women in the armed forces. You’ve come a long way baby and I salute you, but we aren’t there yet are we.

WHORES

Perhaps one of the saddest w’s is we women here in the US of A still stand on a street corner and let some pimp take most of the money for which you have most likely put yourself in danger for. Why would you not take that brain of yours and use it as it should be? I don’t care if you make thousands as an escort” or you are protected on a ranch in Nevada. You are still letting yourself be used for your body and not your mind. As long as men know this, you will never be respected.
And along those same lines, what about women who pose naked for magazines or the foolish young women who get plied with drinks and show off their bodies-again for the pleasure of men. How horrified were your parents and their friends when they saw this. And don’t you love the interviews with those women who do decide to show off the bod. There is always a great reason why they chose to take off their clothes for the world. And don’t you love the painted on swimsuits too.
We women have to squirm when our men look at these women and wonder, what do I have to do to get his attention like that?
Nothing my dears. You are perfect the way you are and the sooner all women see themselves as a person and not an object, someone’s wife or girlfriend, the sooner women will rise up and take their rightful place in society. We as women could teach the men about how things should really be run, like everyone having enough to eat, a roof over themselves, good education and peace on earth. Does another W word come to mind here, as in WAR.?

WASTED MINDS

I’d like to return for a moment to those 80% of women who are not free. Can you imagine the energy and power the world would have if those women were educated and allowed to speak their minds? I find that prospect mind blowing. Men in those countries know this already and are afraid of just what might happen. Oh, dear, they may have to live with only one wife, and one that is intelligent at that.
Unfortunately, I see wasted minds here at home too. Remember I mentioned the pregnant girl who couldn’t read or right. She is 19. I want to know how this happened as she went to school. And don’t tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about. I was a teacher for fifteen years and I took care that my students didn’t leave the classroom with out learning from me. Many hours were spent tutoring one on one. I’m quite sure there are teachers, both men and women who are working just as hard as I did. Just don’t get laid off from your job, dears, because the shame of our education system here in the US will creep in-after a certain amount of years teaching you can’t get hired anywhere except maybe a daycare for $8 an hour. I know this to be fact as a very reliable source told me his district threw away applications of any applicant with over five years experience.
Of course a man will be hired before a woman teacher often. I guess the school system thinks a man can handle the discipline better. Uh huh.
Girls in school, I’m addressing you. Don’t fight with one another over a boy. It makes you look silly and perpetuates the myth that girls are only thinking about one thing-boys. Girls, you can compete in any subject you want to and come out on top. Remember, when you have fights, they are “cat fights”. When boys have fights they are just that, fights.
Let’s get going young ladies and do what you know in your heart is right. Don’t worry about how you look to another person; just use that brain of yours so we can have another woman carry the banner in her chosen profession. This brings me to the last W.

WONDER

Remember the song with the lyrics “I am woman hear me roar”. What happened to those women? Life was supposed to get better and we were supposed to all live harmoniously, men and women. This isn’t what is happening here. These times we live in should be those of great achievements by both women and men, without the woman having to do it like a man. Woman should be creative and loved for herself and her beliefs.

It does not surprise me that more and more women are turning to one another for a loving, monogamous relationship. They see in one another all the things that make up a woman, the good and the bad; the sweetness, the bitchiness, maternal instincts, conversations over a good cup of coffee, and not being judgmental.

I would like to say to all the men of the world out there, be careful. One day you may turn around and all the women will have disappeared and you won’t know where to find them.
