Homeless Label Victim Reiki Nichole Grzych Judgement Survivor

O God, as Naomi and Ruth journeyed from one land to another seeking a home, we ask your blessing upon all who are homeless in this world. You promised to your chosen people a land flowing with milk and honey; so inspire us to desire the accomplishment of your will that we may work for the settlement of those who are homeless in a place of peace, protection.  May we not label but nurture them.  Give them an abundance of good names flowing with opportunity, blessing, and hope. Amen.

What do you really think of the Disney character Winnie the Pooh and “The Land of Milk and Honey”? Is it too good to be true for some?  To label people with names from characters made up can help us refer to people.  But is it reality?  Who are they really.  Writers such as me give good stories to read but do not know how it feels to be labeled.  It can be mockery.  Or is it just for fun?

I have lived as a homeless person and am still grateful today for what I have. I have met a homeless victim as a person that has found a home. He has been judged for being homeless and is rejected job after job for being homeless. He lives in the basement of an two owner’s of an apartment and still has no job or financial security.  Is he going to be the “garbage collector” all his life?  Just picture him getting called that after he has made it past the shelter.

This homeless man’s life consists of illegal confessions that are not allowed to the public. At least he has found a home. However, he has not a true friend…

How should we refer to this person? A survivor…

He has survived the streets and has survived the prosecution of other’s actions. He still looks for a job today and is trying hard to support his family that lives just as much in the terms of survival.  He is not a “bum” but a real soul.

There is a difference to the word that is a label called a loser or an outcast and a survivor. Many who have lived homeless have the survival skills others cannot even be professionally trained to have. Yes, there are homeless victims that are survivors looking for a home that can survive economically and differently than the other citizen. It should not be judged or charged in any way. I am a survivor myself and thank my parents for allowing the economical and physical survival skills I have developed and still keep today.

Many blessings to the homeless. For they are worthy or abundance and blessings.  May we label them with positive names and characters that give them faith and heart.

Please do not judge those who do not have what you have. They may have done more and only be generous at heart and compassion. For God blesses that type. Do not judge what you see. For God has many blessings in store for those of that type. It is not visible to the realistic eye. I, as the Reiki Master, am worthy to give that blessing and more to come.

We should refer to homeless as survivors…
