Where is Singapore

Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is an Vatican City, the only other present-day sovereign city-states. Singapore is a small island south of Malaysia a few kilometers above the equator. This makes it in the tropical rainforest-ish region of the world. This would also result in the heat that you find quite common in Singapore so remember to bring plenty of suntan lotion and an umbrella if you visit. Visiting Singapore is also a great option because of its many tourist attractions like the Orchid Road and other famous tourist attractions in Singapore.

Before European settlement, the island now known as Singapore was the site of a British Empire, and the hub of British power in Southeast Asia. It was also originally a trading post developed by a man whose last name was Raffles. Raffles is common in Singapore (Raffles City) because he is the supposed founder of Singapore. So this is why when living in Singapore you find many things with the name Raffles.

Living in Singapore can be tough because of its unbearable heat and abundance of mosquitoes. The benefit of living in Singapore is the Sentosa resort. The Sentosa resort is a resort similar to Universal Studios in the United States, the reason why living in Singapore might not be the best idea is that the traffic there is terrible and many Americans living there get confused with driving as they drive on the left side of the street instead of the right. Singaporean food is another benefit of living in Singapore because the food there is simply delicious and appetizing. The best thing about eating Singaporean food is that some restaurants unlike China and Japan actually give you forks instead of chopsticks. Singapore is also cramped partially because it is the smallest nation in Southeast Asia and it feels cramped with all the buildings everywhere, the streets there also go down and uphill which can be very annoying at times and next to neighborhood streets are pits that look like the drainage system. I find this very annoying at times too because it seems that you can easily fall into the drainage system and hurt yourself. Also the many people living in Singapore, although friendly at times can seem a bit harsh against Americans but overall it is a good city. To wrap it up, although I believe that Singapore has some good things and some bad things I would prefer not to live in Singapore.
