Why Health and Happiness are more Important Thatn Money
It is well known that money is needed to make dreams successful. Money is not the key to health and happiness. The expression ‘money cannot buy happiness’ is true. Along with happiness, money cannot buy health. If not careful, money can destroy both health and happiness.
Reasons health is more important that money is almost self-explanatory. You need health to make money. It is understandable if you are making a life better for your spouse and children, as long as you don’t put it above your spouse and children. Remember, money cannot hug your family, say ‘I love you’, or offer advice like you can. Another reason is if your health is neglected, all your hard-earned money will be gone just to maintain your health. Most people plan on retirement at some point in their lives. If health is neglected throughout the working years, there is a huge risk of not living long enough in retirement to enjoy everything planned. Putting your health before the extra shift is only smart, preventative measures.
Happiness is clearly more important that money. If you are not happy or the slightest big content in your position; everything in your life will fall apart. The overwhelming dislike of work will begin to show in your personal life. Your marriage might fail. The children will see how tense you are and find it hard to approach you. In turn a rift will develop between you and the children. That is something a parent dreads. Not to mention friends will eventually fade out. At work, your tense demeanor will have a strong vibe. Your work will start to fail. The boss may question your ability to do the position is a productive manor. Being happy will create stronger, priceless relationships with your loved ones. Not just for the younger years, but create the bonds that will last a lifetime. Sacrificing a bigger salary every year for happiness is well worth it.
Yes, money is nice to have. It is not even close in comparison to the importance of having health and happiness. Health and happiness go together. Money is the third wheel. You can make do without having an excessive amount left over. It not only shows you care about your own well-being, but also shows your family and friends respect when you make time for them. Making memories with your spouse, children, and family can never have a price tag. The most important things in life are priceless.
