Magical Ingredients for getting what you want

THE MOST MAGICAL 5 INGREDIENTS towards success.
Chances are you have set really hard goals and have little or no idea how to accomplish them. While there is no easy way to get anything in life, there is certainly “shortcuts” and habits that will get you there faster.

In majority of cases, you receive an equal amount of what you want according to the efforts you put in it. Be it money, weight loss, love, career or dream jobs it all takes hard work to get and harder work to keep. The good thing is that THERE IS PROVEN WAYS TO GET WHAT YOU WANT IN CONSIDERABLY LESS TIME and im about to unveil some of the techniques and tricks that have worked and still work for me.

1) Don’t just dream, ACT on it:

90% of people just say “ahh i wish…” and never do anything about. That means if you take one step towards what you want, another step will follow and eventually you’ll get there. Its as if you wanted to walk from NY to San Diego. Tons of people will tell you its impossible, your mind will present you with the reasons why this is such an unobtainable goal (but not impossible) and thats when most people give up, right before they try. But if you started walking without caring about what could happen and taking care of obstacles as they present, sooner or later you will get to San Diego.

2) Set Goals:

Write down or represent whatever you want in the most meaningful way to you and create a map or a list of actions to achieve it. Lets say you want to loose 30 pounds in 6 months. Just because you want it really really bad doesn’t mean it will magically happen, and just because you exercise 5 hours a day for the first 2 weeks doesn’t meant you’ll achieve your goal because eventually you’ll be overwhelmed. Create a plan that is not too hard to follow and divide your main goal into small tasks, as in “exercise 45Min’s a week, eat 7 meals a day, join a sports club, ride a bike once a week, etc” and organize your plan of action in a way that you know you’ll be able to follow.

3) Trial and Error:

Reality is, most people don’t succeed the first time. They try different ways or methods towards their goal until one of them gets it accomplished. For example, take a plane pilot. pilots have their route planned and assigned to them before they depart from the airport, but chances are, 90% of the time they will re-adjust their route according to fuel, weather conditions or staff. The trip might take a little bit longer, but by adjusting on the fly the plane is guaranteed to land at their corresponding destination without problems.

4) Ask:

There’s all kind of people in the world, and for sure is that there is people that have already accomplished what you want. Look for people with this characteristics, and ask for their advice. Its very common that successful people will be more than will to help you and provide you with guidance, warnings and shortcuts to get where you want to be. These kind of person has already tried what works and what doesn’t, and have vast experience is in what things you need to do to be good and what you want. To prove this theory i established that i wanted to double my income in less than a year, I started to “hang out” with people who made as much as i wanted to make, learn from them and the way they did things, asked tons of questions and seeked advice. In less than a year i duplicated my income, worked less hours and acquired a quality of life that almost a year ago seemed impossible.

5) Take Risks:

The saying “NO RISK=NO REWARDS” can also translate to “Little Risk, Little Reward” and thats what most people do. They take risks according to their comfort level and receive in exchange the same. The key is, if you have a gut feeling that even tho something might seem very risky or way more than you’re willing to risk its going to work, chances are it will work. With greater risks there’s greater rewards and a level of personal growth that is priceless to those who achieve it.
In November gas prices went up and since i commute a long distance to work, this was gonna have a big impact in my life. I decided that i needed and extra $10.000 a year to cover my expenses and i needed a raise, but i had been promoted recently and was uncertain of what could happen. Truth is, i was concerned to loose my job since sales had been really low for the past 3 months and things were not good within the company, but it was either asking for the raise and risk my job, or keep my mouth shut and live on the edge. I said to myself “well, if i dint get what i want, i doubt my life will get worse and if i have to work for another company i will”. After taking my manage out to lunch, i explained the situation and told him i wasn’t gonna be able to work there unless i had another raise and i asked for $15.000. He didn’t seem surprised and immediately replied “Well, i might not be able to do $15k, but I’m sure we can arrange $12k”. Of course i accepted.

So there it is, simple things and habits you can develop to get what you want OR more, and that wont only take you where you want to be but also help you develop the skills you’ll need to be the best at what you do.
