Life. The very word provokes a countless number of feelings, emotions, and questions. Since the beginning of life on Earth, people have been searching for the meaning and purpose of life. For if one does not know its purpose, how can one enjoy it? It has been sought after in fame, fortune, power, and pleasure. It has been studied and pondered and pursued. Yet somehow, it has seemingly escaped the grasp of our human efforts. How do I know this? If the meaning of life were found in worldly items or feelings, why do the richest of these never seem satisfied? Why do people die still searching? I believe I have come to find the answer.

I mentioned earlier that the key to enjoying life is finding its purpose. The only way that can be accomplished is by knowing the One who created life. Without knowledge of such a Creator, it will continue to escape our futile grasps. I am able to say with great confidence that I have indeed found the Creator of life. His name is Jesus, and He is the God and creator of all that exists. The planets, the sun, the moon, the stars, and all living creatures. More importantly, He is the creator of mankind. The creator of our souls. Only He knows the purpose and meaning of life, and with that, how to enjoy life. After coming to know this Jesus, I discovered my purpose in life, and it has brought to me more enjoyment that I had ever known before. Without having a personal relationship with Him, I am convinced that one cannot truly enjoy this adventure on Earth that we call life.

The next questions then would be, “How does one find this Jesus, and how can one get to know Him?” The answer to these questions lie in the Holy Bible, which is the book that He wrote to us through people a few thousand years ago. It describes the account of Creation, and tells how to have a relationship with the very God who created you. It explains that we are sinners, and we must confess our sins to Him and turn away from them. When we do this, the Bible says that He will forgiver our sins, and wash us white as snow. Then we are able to talk with Him and hear His voice. When this happens, we are finally able to understand and learn from Him just how we can truly enjoy this life
